Scholarships for doctoral candidates
Doctoral support from the organization for the promotion of young talent
In Germany, the following twelve organizations for the promotion of young talent have joined together as a working group for the promotion of young talent:
- The German National Merit Foundation (Deutsche Studienstiftung), which is politically, religiously and ideologically independent;
The party-affiliated foundations: Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, Hanns Seidel Foundation, Heinrich Böll Foundation, Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation;
The two institutions supported by the social partners; the Hans Böckler Foundation of the German Trade Union Federation and the Foundation of the German Economy;
The three religiously-influenced organizations for the promotion of young talent: Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst e.V. (funded by the Protestant church of Germany, Cusanuswerk (scholarship body of the Catholic Church in Germany) and Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk.
