According to the Statute, members are obliged to participate a half-day Kick-Off Seminar, a non-methodical workshop of the qualification program and the online module “Good Scientific Practice”.
Doctoral candidates of the UNIVERSITY OF BAYREUTH GRADUATE SCHOOL are, as defined by the University Constitution (Grundordnung), members of the university and have access to the general resources of the university.

Financial Support Schemes
To strengthen international visibility and networking activities of young scholars, UNIVERSITY OF BAYREUTH GRADUATE SCHOOL supports its doctoral candidates with a common share budget and with an individual share budget.
The bridging fund is an instrument to support doctoral candidates at the UNIVERSITY OF BAYREUTH GRADUATE SCHOOL during financial shortfalls and to enable them to begin or continue their work at the University of Bayreuth with the help of short-term financial support (usually up to 4 months).
