"Research Mapping as a tool for creating research value"

In the upcoming summer semester 2017 the Chair of Business Administration III – Marketing offers a research seminar on the subject of „Research Mapping as a tool for creating research value” in collaboration with Professor Dr. Guido Ellert from the Macromedia university of applied science.
Learning Goals of the seminar:
I. Knowledge and understanding:
Be able to understand the network of the research process and tools to be used in each process step.
II. Cognitive research skills (thinking and analysis):
Be able to connect, correlate and differentiate along the process. The students have a general under-standing of the strengths and weaknesses of alternative research designs.
III. Communication skills (personal and academic):
Develop critical thinking and objective analysis of decision making challenges in the research process. Taking a stand, forming a substantiated opinion and making sound decisions to your research. The students will be more sensitive to the biases and limitations of research data and basic data analysis
IV. Practical and subject specific skills (Transferable Skills):
Be able to develop decision options. Anticipate the consequences of your decision.
This course is primarily directed towards master students in Business Administration and doctoral candidates in the research program Management Science. Master students in Sport, Business & Law as well as other master programs are very welcome upon consultation.
Binding registration takes place via CampusOnline according to the First-come-first-served principle. Here as well, the First-come-first-served principle applies. Registration and deregistration is possible in the period from Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017, 8.00 a.m. to Friday, 12th of May 2017.
